Description
EN : This workshop brings together the artistic worlds of Eef Jansen and Jérémy Alberge, exploring the relationship between fluidity and rhythm, gravity and imagination, precision and expressiveness. Each day begins with a physical awakening through guided improvisation and body awareness practices, focusing on breath, grounding and the flow of energy. Participants then explore different movement textures, rhythmic qualities, musicality and choreographic phrases. The work moves between Eef’s poetic, instinctive and rhythmic movement research and Jérémy’s organic, sensory and precise approach. Dancers will learn sophisticated choreographic phrases, with new material explored each day, focusing on the connection between organic movement and rhythmicity. An open space to explore, connect, share and discover new movement possibilities, continuing the research and spirit of the previous intensive workshops.
The workshop encourages: a deeper awareness of inner impulses and physical gravity, the embodiment of imagination as an engine for creativity, a dialogue between improvisation and composition, learning fast, sophisticated and groovy phrases where dancers are invited to merge the research of the class into set material that connects them, and an open, human space for discovery and connection and dialogue.
